Yet another phone cover

My sister has gotten
a new phone cover
It is gold and quite
bright
No, I mean it
literally
It fairly glows at
night
By some electric
mischief
It changes colour
First red then blue
then green
And a great many
other!
But the problem was
That it kept on
glowing
And after a few hours
It was quite
irritating
So my sister
In a fit of remorse
Took out the battery
And the glow is lost!
Ah my dear sister
What did you do?
Taking away the
cover’s glow
Wasn’t that cruel of
you?
