Wishing to see
There are things I
have hardly seen
And most definitely
have never been
But I really wish I
would someday
If fate would put the
chance my way
Such as the mountains
Majestic and tall
Against which even
giants
Feel helpless and
small
Or deep canyons and
valleys
And shimmering
waterfalls
I have perhaps seen a
few
But I would like to
see more
Maybe the wonders of
space
In the dark night sky
And constellations I
could trace
With just the gaze of
my eyes
There so many things
I wish to see
But I haven’t seen
them yet
But until I do I will
remember
That I want to and
won’t forget
